Check out my review of The Alpha’s Rejected Fate by Aline Ash @ https://amzn.to/3yKJduS
“…it really threw a wrench into a barely greased, barely functioning machine.”
Emergency medical situations call for a visit to the healer, and Kieran may be mad at his brother, but he isn’t going to leave him to bleed out in front of their mother.
Upon arriving at the healer’s house he gets not one but three surprises… the healer’s daughter Zora is there getting some help, and it turns out after he rejected Zora she kept a few secrets.
Or is this a case of one well meaning secret deserves another, because a boatload of good intentions seem to be leading to a world of hurt.
This done in one Kindle unlimited book introduces a very insular and private Wolf Clan that has used secrecy to protect themselves for decades. What others don’t know they can’t use to hurt you, but as Kieran comes to realize, some people fill in those gaps of knowledge with the worst assumptions possible.
I really enjoyed Harlan and Laurel… they were used really well in a scene where Zora realized she was trying to physically fight her fears. It was a great turning point in the story.
I’m trying out a new type of background for my images… hope you like them!
