Khel and Zoey are both wartime pilots, equally aware of the risks they take, and the dangers they face. It\’s not that either, or both, of them aren\’t looking towards the future… more that they live a life focused on the now, aware of how important daily missions are, knowing tomorrow isn\’t guaranteed.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited stand alone quick read was a lot of fun. Two pilots with rough edges that seemed to always rub one another wrong are forced to fly together… and gradually discover even as their verbally sparring and trading barbs, they fly surprisingly well together.

Part of the overarching Luvon arc, this story stands well on its own, while moving the ongoing plot forward in some interesting ways.
