Seren hasn’t pressed Gracie to reveal all her truths, in part because he is holding back a few of his own, but there comes a point where it isn’t just his life on the lune, or hers, and they have to truly determine the value of their secrets, and honesty, and consider why they are withholding from one another and if it is worth it.
This book explores more of the Latest empire, both its customs, and people, and delves into some interesting aspects of its history as well as fear — particularly of history repeating itself.
I’m curious to see where the series goes next as I’m enjoying each book, and the secondary characters are loaded with story possibilities.
