This quick read is full of wonderful writing, with attitude and humor abounding, this was a page turner for me.

Livia is a woman on a mission, and then there’s that little matter of what she’s been sent to do. Just depends who you ask what’s secondary and what has to come first.

Delgen is a leader, with a region suffering in almost every way imaginable he has traded away part of his own future to secure everyone elses… But maybe he got better than he thought he bargained for.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read is a wonderful read, with fun turns of phrase, a leading lady who isn’t used to being able to depend on others discovering the power and strengths of a tight knit community, and a fierce leader capable of stopping to think rather than acting in haste.
